If you’re looking for some inspiration, all you need is a cozy spot and a good cup of coffee. And wouldn’t it be even better if you can work right beside a park in the middle of the town? Whether you’re a designer, a programmer, a poet or a fashionista, the answer will probably be the same.
Here at K Büro, what you do doesn’t matter as much as how you think. Yes, we are a co-working space focused on art & design, but at the end of the day we’re just creative people who want to produce their best work in a comfortable, inspirational place with great networking opportunities. Did that last bit sound too business-like? How about if we use the term “family,” instead? Yes, a family! Different people with different backgrounds coming together to make incredible things. At K Büro you won’t just find people to work with…you’ll also find new friends.
Designer, illustrator, art director and photographer. Not necessarily in that order. Karen Hofstetter was born in São Paulo, where she worked as an art director with an eye for design, type, colors, fashion, music and art.
In 2010, she traded her car for a bike and moved to Berlin, where she currently lives, collaborates as an illustrator for Vogue Brazil and creates graphic design and branding projects for many Brazilian brands. Karen has written a city guide of insider tips, hot spots and highlights from all her favorite places in Berlin. She also sells some goodies like wallpapers, posters, pillows, iPhone cases and more.
Her latest project, K Büro, brings artists together from different disciplines to share a co-working studio to collaborate on art, networking, inspiration and creativity.
